During the colonial era, Once lived a family of Bhartiya’s on the most fertile land Punjab, they were too the wisher of freedom from British but did not know that it would cost partition not just of land but of love, life, belief, care, religion, neighborhood, friendliness and so on…all they want was to remain with their family with their children in peace at their lavish sweet home in west Punjab but their wish turns out to be a great mess. The twist came in the lives of millions of people which ultimately twisted everything and lead to bloodshed, negativity, decline of truth and harmony, end of humanity, a war in between Hindus and Muslims which lead to partition…
The sun of Indian independence raisin but many homes sun set for always. The grandparents came to know about the harsh truth of death of their children and grandchildren in partition. Their soul was deeply shaken, grandma said “say it’s a lie, this can’t happen. My family cannot die like this. We didn’t know that; we have to pay such a huge cost for freedom of India not even of Akhand Bharat because it has been Khand by this mishappening “.
Soon, they left their sweet home and moved to India as west Punjab was now Pakistan. They didn’t have any other choice in the way to freedom people lost their everything, nothing was left in them, not even the courage to face themselves. Ultimately, they came to road and both started crying, bagging for some food. Grandfather hide his face because he was ashamed of his current situation but if grandmother won’t beg for food they would die of starving for food and lead to end of life. A man came and took them with him at his home in Delhi, he started taking care of them as he too became an orphan and needed a family. They lived with him, remembering their past experiences. The life was hard but not impossible, they managed everything with time and lived happily ever after… they told their story to a painter who portraited their story in a painting.
